- 1 box triple chocolate cake mix
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1/2 cup unsalted sweet cream butter, melted
- 1 cup Mallo Bits plus more for topping
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 – 2 cups mini chocolate chips plus more for topping
- 1 jar (7 oz) vegan marshmallows cream
- Chocolate sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, flour, warm water, and yeast. Mix until slightly combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick.
- Brush with melted butter, add Mallo Bits, mini chocolate chips, and cinnamon evenly over the surface. Roll tightly into a log shape.
- Cut into 1 ½ inch pieces and place in a baking dish. Cover and let rise for another hour while preheating your oven to 350°F.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for around 20 minutes before decorating with chocolate sauce and warmed vegan marshmallow cream.
