- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 medium Granny Smith apples (peeled and diced)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
- Toss diced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; layer over cheesecake mixture.
- For topping, mix flour, brown sugar, cold cubed butter, and chopped pecans until crumbly; sprinkle over apples.
- Bake for about 45 minutes until set in the middle.
- To make caramel sauce: heat granulated sugar and water until golden brown; stir in heavy cream, butter, and salt.
- Once cooled completely, cut into squares and drizzle with warm caramel before serving.
