- ½ cup sour cream
- ¾ cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 4 oz cream cheese
- ¾ cup sugar
- 6 tbsp cinnamon
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ tsp salt
- 4 ½ tsp corn syrup
- 1 cup plus 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar and melted butter until light and fluffy.
- Mix in sour cream, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; drizzle half of the filling over it and swirl gently.
- Bake for 23-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- For icing, combine heavy cream, vanilla extract, corn syrup, and cream cheese in a saucepan; bring to a boil until slightly thickened.
- Mix in powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached; pour over cooled cake.
