  • 12 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion (diced)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes (don’t drain)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shaved, shredded, or fresh grated)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned. Break it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add uncooked bowtie pasta and let simmer for 10-12 minutes until cooked al dente.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese until melted. Serve hot with mozzarella and parmesan on top.
