Instructions
- Prepare the blackberry filling by cooking blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and water over medium heat until thickened (about 5-7 minutes). Let cool.
- Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm water and sugar; let sit until bubbly (5-10 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, combine warmed milk, melted butter, egg, and salt. Stir in activated yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour and knead until smooth; let dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter and sprinkle brown sugar mixed with cinnamon on top.
- Add cooled blackberry filling evenly, roll tightly from one edge, and cut into rolls.
