Ingredients

  • 12 small sandwich rolls
  • 6 slices deli chicken
  • 6 slices turkey
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice each roll in half horizontally; toast lightly if desired.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side and Dijon mustard on the other side of each roll.
  3. Layer fillings: place chicken and Swiss on half the rolls, turkey and cheddar on the other half.
  4. Close the sandwiches gently and press down.
  5. Mix melted butter with garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper; brush over the tops of sandwiches.
  6. (Optional) Place in a baking dish covered with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes until warmed through.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.
