Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound 93% lean ground beef
  • Kosher salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cheese slices (your choice)
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons relish
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white grape juice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Season beef patties with salt and pepper; let rest at room temperature.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sauté onion rounds until golden brown (2-3 minutes per side). Set aside with cheese slices on top.
  3. Cook beef patties in the same skillet until golden brown (about 3 minutes per side) and add remaining cheese on top of two patties.
  4. Assemble burgers: start with an onion round without cheese, layer one patty without cheese, another patty with cheese, and finish with remaining onion round.
  5. For the sauce, whisk together Greek yogurt, relish, sugar, vinegar, ketchup, and mustard; refrigerate until ready to serve.
  6. Serve warm drizzled with sauce.
