  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  4. Add the egg and mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just incorporated. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop out portions of dough onto the baking sheets. Create a well in each ball of dough and place about half a teaspoon of Nutella inside before sealing it up.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden but still soft in the middle. Allow cooling slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
