- 3 yellow onions
- 6 tablespoons salted butter
- 1.5 pounds boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup dry white grape juice
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups dry orzo pasta
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
Instructions
- Layer the sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot, followed by butter, chicken, thyme, sage, garlic, salt, pepper, grape juice, broth, and mushrooms.
