- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté chopped onion in olive oil until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook briefly before stirring in crushed tomatoes and marinara sauce; let simmer.
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, spinach, ricotta cheese, half mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente; drain carefully.
