- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (roughly chopped)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they begin to burst, about 8-10 minutes.
- Gently press tomatoes with a wooden spoon to release juices.
- Stir in minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add reserved pasta water and balsamic vinegar; simmer for about 10 minutes.
