  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, and basil until combined.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the marinara sauce, half of the ziti, all of the ricotta mixture, more marinara, and finish with remaining ziti and mozzarella.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until golden.
