Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2–3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp ginger (grated)
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1–2 Tbsp sriracha
- 2–3 Tbsp chicken broth
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 tsp corn starch
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
- ½–1 Tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 cup rice (cooked)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1 cup shelled edamame
- 1 cup pickled onions
- 1 each avocado (sliced)
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 each green onion (sliced)
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey in a bowl until well combined.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat sesame oil. Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds.
- Add ground turkey along with smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, sea salt, soy sauce, sriracha, chicken broth, and honey. Cook until browned (about 8-10 minutes).
- To thicken the sauce, mix cornstarch with water in a small bowl and stir into the skillet. Cook for another minute until thickened.
- Assemble your bowls: start with rice as the base and top with ground turkey mixture and vegetables. Drizzle with Bang Bang Sauce.
